Mamata Khadka is a registered nurse with clinical experience spanning across acute care, midwifery, and aged care since 2011. Mamata has held a range of leadership roles in aged care and has been working as a Clinical Advisor in the Chief Clinical Advisory Division’s Clinical Unit with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission since 2023. Mamata has completed a Master of Nursing and a Master of Science in Gerontology and Rehabilitation Studies. Mamata has a passionate interest in palliative and end of life care, specifically in relation to how it applies to older people entering an end-of-life trajectory and how their comfort and dignity can be maintained during this time. Mamata also has an ardent interest in wound management, with a specific focus on the management of chronic non-healing wounds in older people.
