Professor Jennifer Tieman is a Matthew Flinders Professor and Director of the Research Centre in Palliative Care, Death and Dying at Flinders University. A national leader in palliative care innovation, she has built a strong portfolio of programs improving how evidence and knowledge are shared across health and aged care.
Jennifer leads the CareSearch and palliAGED initiatives—national platforms supporting clinicians, aged care providers, patients, and families to access trusted, evidence-based palliative care resources.
She also co-leads the End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) program, connecting services and strengthening quality care at the end of life. Her work focuses on digital innovation, knowledge translation, and embedding palliative care across Australia’s health and aged care systems.
