Felicity Burns is a visionary healthcare leader with over 25 years’ experience in public health, specialising in integrated and palliative care, and hospital operations. As Executive General Manager at HammondCare, she leads multidisciplinary services across Northern and South Western Sydney, advancing excellence in rehabilitation, mental health, and palliative care.
With a strong clinical background in haematology, oncology, ICU, and bone marrow transplant, Felicity champions person-centred, trauma-informed care. She has driven key initiatives embedding HammondCare’s Philosophy of Care across diverse settings and provides strategic leadership across residential and home care to foster integrated models of care.
Felicity’s work with the Australian Health Services Research Institute has informed evidence-based service design and quality improvement. As President of Palliative Care NSW, she contributes to statewide strategy and policy. She holds a Master’s in Health Service Management and is dedicated to building collaborative, high-performing teams that deliver meaningful outcomes for patients and families.
