Elissa Campbell is a geriatrician and palliative care physician, working in acute geriatric medicine in Perth (Boorloo), WA. She is President of Palliative Care WA. In 2022 she undertook the inaugural WA Department of Health Churchill Fellowship “to explore models of palliative care for people with dementia”, visiting clinical, research and community organisations in 7 countries.
She was a member of the WA Ministerial Expert Panel on Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD), VAD Implementation Team and VAD Act Review Panel. In 2015 she undertook a WA Cancer & Palliative Care Network fellowship in Advance Care Planning. Her clinical and research interests include delirium, dementia and palliative care for older people.
