Cassara Hardie is the Director of Operations of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ageing and Aged Care Council (NATSIAACC). The national peak body that advocates to Government on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Providers, Elders and Older People and Communities to ensure Elders and Older People receive care that is culturally safe, trauma aware and healing informed.
Cassara is a proud Dunghutti woman from Northern New South Wales. Born and raised on Dharug Country, Western Sydney, NSW.
Cassara comes with experience working within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Sector from working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and a state Peak Body.
Cassara’s overall passion is to enhance career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in order to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and Communities.
