Angela joined The Salvation Army (TSA) in February 2025, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in the sector. Her career began as a registered nurse and progressed through various management and executive leadership roles across home care, residential care, homelessness, and quality, safety, and risk. Angela is recognised as an expert in dementia-specific and enabling design aligned with aged care accommodation principles and has played a pivotal role in developing Specialist Dementia Care Units (SDCUs) nationwide.
She has held key positions on sector reference groups and worked extensively with stakeholders across the aged care sector and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Prior to joining TSA, Angela served in senior leadership at HammondCare, overseeing quality, safety, and risk, and also led the planning, construction, and startup of new services.
Angela’s values strongly align with The Salvation Army, and she is making a significant contribution not only to TSA Aged Care services but also to the wider mission of the TSA movement.
